(8) Meet Your New Neighbors

When the kids were little it was really easy to meet the neighbors. Everyone had something in common, but now that the kids are older, I don’t have that connection. And to make it worse, we moved in December of last year and no one seems to be our age. In fact, they are more the age of my kids. Makes it really hard to start up new friendships.
But just a few minutes ago I happened upon this site. It’s called Meet Ups and it allows you to pick the town where you live and then shows you all the activities going on that might be of interest to you. Certain lets you zero in on the most likely place to meet people your own age.
