Take a look at the photo and tell me that if they were to get into merchandising, what would they pick to sell to the public? I bet that you will never guess in a million years. Okay, I’m going to tell you…
“The band inked a licensing deal with Gemini Cosmetics Thursday for both beauty and fragrances. The first products will be out in September: men’s and women’s scents.
“We thought about doing makeup,” band co-founder Paul Stanley, the group’s guitarist, joked in an interview. “But we weren’t sure how many women would want to walk around with white-painted faces.”
The deal, brokered by the band’s management, Doc Mc Ghee Management, and its merchandise and licensing representative, Signatures Network, includes both fragrance and beauty products, with men’s and women’s scents launching first. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.”
Will you be putting this Kiss fragrance on your Christmas list this year?
Ha! Would you believe I am a huge Kiss fan? I saw this the other day, and do think I will give it a try. Gene Simmons/Doc McGhee are marketing geniuses, and I imagine that if anyone knows a hot and sexy fragrance, they do.

I have seen a few interviews and have to agree… Gene Simmons is one smart guy! And from what I have read, they have given the scent a lot of thought. They are going with elegant, but I’m sure there will be something a little sexy thrown in for good measure.
