Breast Cancer Myths

Awareness Ribbon Cookie Cutter SetYou are seeing pink everywhere, reminding us that this is Breast Cancer Awareness month so I thought that I would take it one step further and talk about some of the myths that have been circulating.

“What is your risk of breast cancer? Which breast cancer treatment is right for you? What about antiperspirants and breast cancer?

What you don’t know CAN hurt you. Misinformation can keep you from recognizing and minimizing your own risk of breast cancer or getting the very best possible care. Arm yourself with the facts”

And if you find a lump, don’t sit there and tell yourself that it is nothing. It might not be, but why take chances? You will simply stress yourself out by worrying about it.

And I did donate. Maybe my few dollars will help someone.

It would be nice if we could get rid of breast cancer all together. We all have daughters that we would like to protect from the disease.
