Cleanser Search: RoC Age Diminishing Facial Cleanser.

When I asked about the different types of cleansers you wanted reviewed here, the first few things I got from reading your comments were that you were interested in anti-aging cleansers, and most of you wanted to know about drugstore cleansers. Well, looking at my shelf, staring at me front and center was this one from RoC, a drugstore cleanser. Age Diminishing Facial Cleanser, an anti-aging cleanser at that.

RoC Age Diminishing Facial Cleanser is a nice thicker gel type of cleanser, enriched with conditioning soy extracts. It is gentle while being hard working at the same time. Makeup and dirt is removed without stripping skin of its natural moisture balance. This is very important because harsh, abrasive cleansers can make wrinkles appear more evident and make anti-aging treatments work harder.  The conditioning soy extracts and help to even skin tone and reduce rough surface skin. What you get – softer, smoother, younger-looking skin.

This cleanser is almost the consistency of shampoo, that foams into a bit of a lather when washing your face. It has a nice scent, but because of it being scented a bit more on the strong side, which can be eye irritating, I suggest using an eye makeup remover around the eye area first.
