My grandmother was an artist who lived into her 80’s, and had a mastectomy in her 60’s. She always inspired me as someone who lived the life she chose. I just read an inspiring book about women artists over 80 leading creatively fulfilling and productive lives, called Aging Artfully (check out http://www.agingartfully.com)
