“Inner beauty is important, but not nearly as important as outer beauty." Excuse me but am I the only one that sees something very wrong with this statement? Any preteen or teenager that sees this commercial is receiving the message that how you look is more important than how smart you are or how nice you are. This message is giving the "pretty" people of the world an excuse to be mean and feel like they're better than the smart people and the nice people because they're what the world considers pretty. There is no reason that the smart and nice people should be treated like lesser beings just because they don't fall into the category of what the world says is beautiful. I think you should really rethink that statement and realize that although the product is aimed at an older generation the younger generations will still see the commercial and hear the message that in the end beauty is the most important thing in life.

Personally, I love this product. It gives me great coverage without being heavy or sinking into my pores. I did have to go one shade darker, also, but that was no problem, I just exchanged it at the drugstore where I bought it. It goes on creamy and sheer but softens to a slighty more matte look. I glow and I don't have to use any powder - that is what gets cakey and emphasizes the lines, ladies, its the powder you are using. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised that this is such a great product. I use a fresh cosmetic sponge wedge (each day) to apply a sheer layer & then go back over to touch up the spots that need slightly more coverage. Sometimes I use the sponge wet to get a really sheer look. Terrific stuff!

I can not believe what I just heard on the commercial. We have a society in which young women are killing themselves to be 'beautiful'. The same 'beautiful' that the media promotes. Now Cover Girl is publically stating that outter beauty is more important than inner beauty, this is horrifying!! Cover girl, I am greatly disappointed. I may be only one consumer but I will no longer be purchasing your products. I realize that the message was intended for 'older' women but truth is, young women are hearing the message as well. I hope that I am not the only one who sees that this is so very wtong.

I love the product (Covergirl & Olay) but have a problem with the packaging.
I was dressed to go out and was putting on the foundation when it fell out of the compact on to my skirt. Needless to say that was not a good thing since I am a bilateral amputee above the knee and getting dressed in a hurry is a chore. Is it supposed to be in the clear glass lid, which is where it was when I opened up, or on the blue side with the white sheet. I sure would like to know.

You can return the Simply Ageless foundation to Covergirl if you are not happy with the product. Go to Covergirl.com/simplyageless and click on the money-back guarantee link. You must have your receipt to return the product. I also found that it was very white and had to go several shades darker than my usual ivory color.

Ladies:

Whoever told you you can't return it is giving you a bunch of crap. Rhonda, I don't work for the company but I would suggest you contacting their corporate office with your complaint. You can find this info on their website.

Usually most drugstores, Walmart's or Targets will take the product back, even if it has been opened. These companies are making so much money then can afford to so don't be afraid to get squeaky and get your money back.
