Aging Fabulous

I Don’t Like The Unexpected

hauntedUnfortunately it is all too common. A lot of us don’t like change and that includes me. I like what I am familiar with and change makes me nervous. This is especially hard when we travel. I like to plan everything down to the last detail and my husband loves to simply see what happens.

And usually something unexpected does happen! A haunted cottage that we rented in Cornwall, England comes to mind. Should have played it safe and simply stayed in a brand new hotel.

At least give whatever change that comes into your life… a chance. If you don’t like it, at least you tried. If I hadn’t tried something new, I wouldn’t be able to say that yes… I did spend more than one night in a haunted house.

How does change affect you?

I don’t like change at all. Particularly sudden changes that are unalterable. Bad things seem to be a result of those. But I don’t think it is an age thing – I have always been that way, though admittedly, it is more pronounced now. I’m a “safety-and-security” kind of girl. :)
