Fewer Calories

Eating a few hundred less calories today and making time for a short walk can pay off in real health benefits over the course of a lifetime, according to a new University of Florida study.
Better yet, the study in rats conducted by scientists in UF’s Institute on Aging suggests that a little dietary restraint can help reduce the effects of aging.
I agreed with everything he said until I got to the part where *Leeuwenburgh, suggested skipping meals and replacing them with a piece of fruit. I really don’t agree with that statement. Instead, I would suggest that you make healthier choices and instead of three large meals a day, go for six! And the part about the increase in exercise… yes that makes sense too.
And one more thing, Christian Leeuwenburgh also pointed out that we could be overeating by 40 to 50 percent. Now that is scary!
*Christian Leeuwenburgh is an associate professor of aging and geriatric research at the UF College of Medicine
