  43. There are so many products available today, which claim to have anti ageing properties, and reduce lines and wrinkles. It can be confusuing which product to choose. Prevention is always better than a cure, so wearing sun protection with at least SPF 15 is very important. Get into this habit all year round, even if you are not outdoors.

  46. What do I use for sun-damaged skin? I’ve been out in the sun a lot for my travels and now my skin is all blochy and peeling. Pls. advice. Thank you so much!

    • Lucie Larancuent-domenech says:

There is a range of treatment options available for sun damage. The treatments include prescription and non prescription medication. Cosmetic procedures are available for more serious sun damage. It is important that you speak with your dermatologist about your level of sun damage and treatment that will best suit your individual needs. Good luck and thank you for reading the Aging Fabulous blog!

  47. Mayi says:

No wonder I need about 8, 10, hours sleep!!!

  48. mitzie says:

Sleeeeeeep is sooooooooo important, because that’s WHEN your body repairs itself. Our bodies begin the process, and prepares for sleep when the sun goes down, prompting the hormone melatonin to be released.
A cascading of events begins chemically and, when/if light is introduced in the middle of the night…it halts all the processes, because your brain signals the body…”it’s morning…shows over”.
I’m SO glad that you brought this topic up !!
Young & old need to better understand *what happens to each of us at night* :)
Nothing is better for your overall ANTI-aging than The Concert of Chemistry that the body silently plays, every night, for *our* benefit.
