Getting Old: It Sucks!

There I said it. Getting old sucks.
I know that we try to age as fabulously as we can, but really – when it comes down to it, aging is hard. It is tiring. Trying to find this fountain of youth to feel good and look good. It is just not appearing right before my eyes.
I know, with aging comes wisdom. And freedom. And so much else that really goes along with getting older. And while I try to focus on what is good while aging gracefully, and dealing with life’s issues, it is hard to say it. But is sucks. Aging sucks!
Please forgive my moment of insanity. But just putting just a few of these words down into writing has made me feel better. I hope it did for you too!

I agree LOL. Even though we try to think positively “oh yeah I’ll live another 30 years” sometimes at 51 I feel like 91!
Thanks for telling it like it REALLY is! I get tired of all the BS about aging.
Getting old can be difficult, but I feel that if you remain active and continue to reinvent yourself,
growing older can be rewarding and productive.
Live Strong!
It’s a daily struggle only those of us who get here really understand. If your battle is at 30 or 40, I’m truly sorry. For me, I even cruised past 50. It was 55 my face began to expose past excesses and reflect genetics. I can wage my vendetta till I turn blue- my body never got the memo about the “No Wrinkle/Sag” policy. Thanks for the honest post!
