Maybe I am a ignorant or just too busy to notice, but I had no idea that Gwyneth Paltrow is the face of Estee Lauder.

Seeing as that the Estee Lauder target demographic is 35+, I just find this a little strange. Maybe the company is making a shift in a new direction?
What do you think?

Gwyneth Paltrow IS 35. Also, if I’m not mistaken, the last Estee Lauder spokesperson was Carolyn Murphy and she is only 32! Hm. I think I read too many women’s magazines.
hmm, she’s been for a while if i remember it right. unless Gwyneth was endorsing another product years ago… but i’m pretty sure it’s Estee Lauder
Considering she’s 35, why do you think she’s a bad choice? I’m just curious.
I did not realize she was the face of Estee Lauder either. I checked her age she is 35.
I think she has been working for EL for some time, but personally, I don’t think she is right for the part. Not really sure if its her age or if she just doesn’t seem a good fit.
Well where have I been? I thought that maybe this was new partnership.
I cannot believe that she is 35 – really? I didn’t look that up as I assumed she was mid-20’s.
WOW!!!
Not knowing she is 35, or knowing that she is 35 doesn’t really make a difference for me. She seems very young and fresh. Not quite what I think of when I think of EL. If EL is going for a younger campaign, then great. But I think of someone more polished and stunningly beautiful – like Elizabeth Hurley was/is. To me, EL means sophistication.
She is 35 and I think she looks her age, even older, in her latest candids. The EL ads seem to be heavily airbrushed.
