How Much do you Pay for a Botox Treatment?

While I have not had any Botox injections as of yet, I have been helping a friend research it locally. The doctors she has consulted with suggest that she have a bit for the lines in her forehead, and a bit around her mouth.

Now, we live in Massachusetts, and have gotten prices from Doctors in Boston to New York City – and many in between. Now, this is why we are confused. We have received estimates anywhere from $300 to over $3000 for what she needs done. She planned on about $1000, and was hoping that she would only need two to three treatments a year. So what gives with the huge price difference? And believe it or not, the highest prices were not from Doctors in the cities.

Yes, I realize that all of the Botox treatments vary depending on how much Botox is used, but what would you saythe cost of your average Botox treatment is?
