Kiehl’s is making a difference and doing their part to help the planet with their Limited Edition Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion. This amazing lotion is a beautiful collaboration between Kiehl’s and Erykah Badu who also designed the label. The ingredients are some of my favorite starting with Argan Oil, which is indigenous to Morocco’s Atlas Moutain Region. It is delivered from the Argan Tree and is naturally rich in poly-unsaturated fatty acids, including Tocopherols (Vitamin E), and Omega-6 and Omega- 9 fatty acids. Also fantastic for anyone who suffers from Excema.
Squalane, which is a highly refined moisturizing oil that comes from the olive. Ooh think of how soft your skin will feel. Squalane is extremely silky and is easily absorbed, as well as being compatible with the natural oils of the skin. And what would a body lotion be without some Vitamin E, known for its antioxidant and moisturizing properties.
Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion helps to improve the skins resilience and texture while enriching the moisture barrier. The result is a soft, healthy looking sheen that will have you asking ‘why you didn’t treat yourself to a little TLC sooner’. 100% of the proceeds up to 100,000, will support waterkeeper alliance. This is a Limited Edition and is available online at Kiehls.com and in store.

Your review of Kiehl is factually INCORRECT. Squalane is an oil extracted from the liver of a deep sea species of shark and it is frankly a repulsive ingredient. Kiehl should remove this product. I am telling everyone I know.
Actually it isn’t, and you may want to check this article out that specifically says how they are and have been using olives to create Squalane. Especially for skin care and personal care products.

Actually, you’re both right. Squalane is derived from sharks, and, regrettably, some companies still do use this form. But it is also derived from olives and this is the form that Kiehl’s uses.
Thanks so much for your comment. It was the Kiehl’s that she was accusing of using Squalane from sharks, and what I was addressing in response to her very angry comment.
