In doing my research for the most expensive and luxurious skin creams, I came across an article on Forbes.com all about Ultra-Pricey Cosmetics. Some are ones I have already covered here in my luxury skin care features.
They feature the following products with nice little descriptions and pictures:
La Mer Essence
$2,100 for 1.5 oz
RéVive Peau Magnifique Youth Recruit
$1500 for 0.03 fl oz
La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream
$650 for 3.4 oz
Crème de La Mer Miracle Broth
$1,200 for 16 oz
La Prairie Cellular Radiance Concentrate Pure Gold
$525 for 1 oz
Sisleÿa Elixir
$435 for .7 oz
Sisleÿa Daily Line Reducer
$405 for 1 oz
Elemis Pro-Collagen Wrinkle Smooth
$339 for .5 oz
SK-II Ultimate Revival Cream
$300 for 1.7 oz
Darphin Stimulskin Plus Rejuvenating Lifting Serum
$295 for 1 oz
Seriously, if money were no object, would you spend $1500 for 1/3 ounce of product?erhaps if you were one that believes in miracles!

I couldn’t imagine buying something that costs over $100.00 to deal with dark circles or any other beauty problem.
It’s frightening to think there are people who will buy face cream that is $1,000.00. They must not stay wealthy very long!
These really expensive products must have huge concentrations of essential oils of active ingredients.
I’m curious to learn more about the ingredients in these uber-lux beauty potions.
Ahhh that’s crazy!! If money was no object, I might spend a few hundred on a product, if it actually worked! But usually it seems like price has little to do with a product’s effectiveness, yet I haven’t tried those $1000 cremes, so I guess I will never know!
