Makeup - Yes or No?

How often do you wear makeup?
My husband and I continually argue when I am blotting my face or reapplying concealer or adding on more lip gloss. He says that I shouldn’t bother, and he rather me “au natural”, with no makeup. Yes, love is indeed blind. But it is funny, that when I am all made up for a special event, he always compliments how pretty I really am. I don’t get his thinking!
Since I came home from Las Vegas just about a month ago, I can count the number of times that I have worn a full face of makeup on one hand.
Maybe it is because it is just so hot, or that I am pretty golden with my “self-tan” anyway. It is so easy to just throw on a coat of mascara and lip gloss, isn’t it? Maybe I am just becoming more lazy.
Hmm, when I think about it, in the winter, I could probably count the number of times that I do not wear a full face of makeup on one hand. It must be the summer air?!?
So, are you one to never leave the house without a full makeup face on, or are you very comfortable going more natural, without makeup?
I work at a place with a casual dress policy and start work at 7am (very soon to be 6.30am) so I don’t wear makeup to work (I’m lucky if my eyes are open at that time of the day!).
I don’t bother on my days off either. Really the only time I wear any is for occasions.
I live in beautiful Barbados and we have tropical weather year round. Normally, I just slap on some gloss and go. However, I have been making a concerted effort to leave home well-turned out everyday. So I can honestly say I wear a full face of makeup everyday with the heat though, I am not sure how long it last.
Caramaena - 6:30 or 7:00 is just too early for makeup, I agree.
MakeupAddict - You live in Barbados - I am jealous. I would just highlight the beautiful island relaxing tone and down play the makeup, whenever I could!
I wear a full-face of make-up (Foundation, powder, blush, mascara, eye-shadow, eye-liner, lip gloss) for work days.
For days off, I usually wear tinted moisturizer, blush, mascara and lip-gloss. Sometimes a touch of eye-shadow, but not like I would on work days, just a wash of colour. I don’t tan, so I still need some colour.
I am from Europe, Slovakia, and i dont know exist without make-up. It is my mask, without i feel like neked. I like some natural make-up..but glamour i know wear all day, i like it!
