My Glycolic Peel at the Lancome Boutique.

Early Saturday morning, well, 11:30 - which was early after a very late night, or early morning in - I arrived at the beautiful Lancome Boutique on the upper west side of Manhattan.
I was there to have a Glycolic Peel, and it was honestly something I was not in the mood for. I was exhausted and was not ready to have someone poking at my face.

That sounds so luxurious. How was the glycolic part of the process? And how did your skin look afterwards?
I would love a facial at a Lancome Boutique, but I too far away from their locations. Was the cleansing foam moisturizing?
Damien - The glycolic part was nice. The solution was kept on my face for about 10 minutes, and it just felt a bit tingly and warm as the minutes went on. And afterward - my face - amazing. I cannot believe what it has done for my age spots and discolorations - they are so faded. If I could afford this $80 treatment on a weekly basis, I would be there with a standing appointment.
Jo - I absolutely loved the way that the cleansing foam felt. It seemed to swell (the foam) as it sat on my skin for a few minutes, and made my skin feel cushy the whole time. I cannot wait to use it myself.
The next time I visit New York, I must stop by the Lancome spa. I did stop by the spa in Paris at Faubourg St Honore and it’s simply divine.

Yes, Gisele. A visit to New York would not be complete without a visit, and perhaps a treatment (or two).
