Naomi Campbell: Pretty is as pretty does

You can be supermodel tall. Enviably thin. World famous. Jet-setting rich. Knock-down-drop-dead gorgeous. But — if in a petulant fit befitting the tantrum of a toddler, you wing a cellphone at the head of a woman hired to cater to your every whim — you cannot be considered fabulous. Ever.

Her maid Ana Scolavino required four stitches to mend the physical head injury sustained after being hit with the cellphone. On March 19, Naomi Campbell, outfitted in an orange vest and workman’s boots, will begin her five days of court-ordered community service mopping floors at New York’s Sanitation Department. After that, Campbell will be required to complete an anger management program.

Ultimately, pretty is as pretty does. This was not pretty — and far from being fabulous.
