*Peanut Butter – Beauty Foods
This might be the perfect morning to enjoy some peanut butter. While you are shopping for this beauty food, look for natural with no added sugar for obvious reasons. Peanut butter is also full of tyrosine, an amino acid that helps you handle those stressful situations that seem to pop up in everyone’s life on a regular basis.
My sister and I have been looking for foods with the lowest amount of sugar because of our blood sugar levels and they are out there! You simply have to start reading labels. And just in case you are wondering, you really do lose your taste for sugar!
And another thing. When you are baking, start cutting back the sugar that the recipe calls for. I made a batch of bran muffins yesterday with only a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and even my husband liked them.
I think that I read somewhere that we consume our body weight in sugar each year… Now that’s scary!
