As we get older, the number ONE thing that will help you in your quest for younger looking skin is to invest in tools that help you on your way. One such tool that I am in LOVE with is the Clarisonic Plus Skincare Brush. Ihave been using Calrisonic for 2 years now and not only has it made a big difference in the texture of my skin, I think my face is getting cleaner! Now this tool is pricey - so it is an investment BUT the replacement brush heads are only $25. Plus investing in your skin is priceless.
This thing uses sonic technology that gives you 300 movements per second. You would never be able to wash your face that fast on your own! The result is a DEEP clean that leaves your face super duper clean and prepared to absorb your favorite face cream. Clinical studies show that it is more than two times as effective as doing it the old fashioned way AND dry patches, oily areas, pore size, fine lines and wrinkles are all diminished. The new Plus version has with a third speed and an extra brush head specifically designed for the body, you can use the brush head on your elbows, décolleté, hands, arms, and even your feet!!
You can find Clarisonic at Sephora stores nationwide, sephora.com and on Clarisonic’s website at clarisonic.com.

It’s one thing to be generous, but Dr. Robb Akridge, Co-Founder of Clarisonic, (and the most amazing facial cleansing system for beautiful skin) took center stage at this years 16th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women and gave a $200,000 boost where more than 50,000 participants turned out in Los Angeles to walk for this amazing cause. On behalf of Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, makers of the Clarisonic - innovators in sonic skin care, Dr. Robb Akridge, Co-Founder of Clarisonic, presented the check to support promising breast cancer research. Entertainment Industry Foundation ambassadors Jordana Brewster (“Fast & Furious”) and Marcia Cross (ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”) accepted the check on behalf of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).

Dr. Robb Akridge, co-founder of Clarisonic is escorted down the red carpet by Entertainment Industry Foundation Ambassadors Marcia Cross, left, and Jordana Brewster at the EIF Revlon Run/Walk, Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Los Angeles.
“We are thrilled about the important, collaborative research supported by The Entertainment Industry Foundation to fund promising breast cancer research. Clarisonic is proud to partner with this great organization by donating $200,000 raised through our “Pink Ribbon Campaign,” said David Giuliani, CEO of Pacific Bioscience Laboratories Inc. “Unfortunately, nearly everyone in the country has been touched by breast cancer in some way — if not personally, through a friend or loved one. In the shared spirit of the thousands of runners, walkers and supporters who have come out today, it is our hope that this donation will help in the fight against breast cancer, serve as a means for our company to give back, and offer our customers an opportunity to continue this journey with us because the advancements being made are so promising.”
First introduced in October 2007, Clarisonic’s “Pink Ribbon” campaign has raised over $400,000 to help fight breast cancer. With every purchase the “Pink Ribbon” Clarisonic raises funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Now even a better reason to go out and treat yourself to this amazing skin care system.
“We are grateful to Clarisonic for its generous donation and its commitment to the fight against breast cancer,” said Lisa Paulsen, president and CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. “Every contribution makes a difference. It’s wonderful that Clarisonic’s Pink Ribbon campaign makes it easy for consumers to support our cause. “

Dr. Robb Akridge, co-founder of Clarisonic, chats up Miley Cyrus and mom Tish backstage at the EIF Revlon Run/Walk, Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Los Angeles.
The annual women’s cancer fundraiser was hosted by Emmy-nominated star of ABC’s “Samantha Who,” Christina Applegate, actress, singer and star of “Hannah Montana” Miley Cyrus, star of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” Carrie Ann Inaba and Revlon brand ambassador Beau Garrett. “Dancing with the Stars” star, Derek Hough lead the race - which took place at Los Angeles Exposition Park - in the event pace car, while GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist Michael Bolton headlined the event’s celebration concert in the Los Angeles Coliseum as the runners and walkers participants crossed the finish line.
Clarisonic’s stimulating sonic micro-massage gently clears pores and removes six times more makeup than traditional cleansing. It does such a good job of cleaning that it actually prepares the skin to better absorb moisturizers, serums and other skin care products, creating the perfect canvas for your skin care regime. It is also waterproof for use in the shower or tub and at the sink. I am telling you it is the beauty bomb! My boyfriend and I use it everyday and we are hooked.
The big-hearted pink Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing System retails for $195, is available throughout the year and is supported by Clarisonic’s top retailers, including Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ulta, Beauty.com and SkinStore.com, as well as leading dermatology practices and spas nationwide.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful week and are resting after all of the running around and parties attended. To kick off the new year week I have a big surprise for everyone who has Aging fabulous on their beauty radar.
We are giving away, totally free, the New CLARISONIC® Skin Care System – The New Wave to Clear Skin, ( a $195 Value). This is such an amazing product! I have been using for almost two weeks now and my skin feels unbelievable! You all know what a fanatic I am about my skin, and I was so excited to get my hands on this cutting edge skin care device. I just love it!! For those of you who are familiar with the creators of the Sonicare Toothbrush that has kept millions of people’s teeth sparkling clean with their Sonic Oscillation Technology. Now they have applied the same technology into an At-Home and Professional Skin Care System.
The CLARISONIC Skin Care System has been used as a pre-treatment by top dermatologists and spas throughout the country, this patented sonic technology has proven to be instrumental in improving facial cleansing, the first and most important step in any beauty ritual. Building from CLARISONIC’s tremendous in-office success, the makers of CLARISONIC have now started selling the device to the home through top retailers nationwide. I was in Nordstroms just last week and they were sold out.
CLARISONIC is the first sonic oscillation face brush that deeply cleanses, stimulates and clarifies the skin. Using any nonabrasive facial cleanser, CLARISONIC works with the skin’s natural elasticity to unclog pores for deeper cleansing without stripping the skin. Safe for virtually all skin types and for daily use, CLARISONIC is clinically shown to be 2x more effective at cleansing the skin than manual cleansing with soap and water. With its easy usage and waterproof design, no additional time is added to the beauty regimen and it can safely be used in the shower.

Clarisonic Skincare Brush.

I think I want the Clarisonic Skincare Brush for Mother’s Day.
After hearing a few of the other beauty bloggers go on and on about the difference Clarisonic has made to their face and skin, I am really thinking that I need one.
I am always on the look out for anti-aging innovations, and this looks to be a skincare innovation, and if it is good for the skin, then it must be good for anti-aging, right? I hope so.
From the creators of the Sonicare® toothbrush comes Clarisonic® skin care. Sonic technology first changed the way we clean our teeth, it’s now changing how we cleanse our skin. The sonic frequency moves Clarisonic’s soft, gentle brush back and forth at more than 300 times per second. The sonic micro-massage clears your pores, loosening dirt, makeup and oil. Clarisonic® is proven to remove more dirt (sebum and makeup) than traditional, superficial cleansing, allowing your serums and moisturizers to absorb better. Skin is left soft and pampered without harsh abrasion or chemicals. Clarisonic reduces dry skin patches, oily areas and blemishes and removes 6X more makeup. Pore size, fine lines, and wrinkles appear smaller.
At $195, this brush is not cheap. But if it is something you incorporate into your daily routine with little upkeep and does amazing things for the skin, then it would be worth it. I know my husband is going to think I am crazy, but I want it.
Do you use the Clarisonic Skincare Brush?
