Newspaper columnist Cathy Hamilton was chronicling a personal account of the adventures and misadventures of being a woman over 50 in a weekly column called Boomer Girl Diary for a local newspaper when she began searching online for a community of baby boomer women. I was talking about this problem yesterday and thought that I would stay just a little longer. A friend pointed out that social support was one good way to handle it. She is certain that the clubs that she has joined over the years has provided her with a network of women she can talk to when she needs to.
Makes sense to me. Any other tips for dealing with stress that is working for you??
