Extreme Lift Eye (0.5 oz.) is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet in just five minutes.

Intensive Eye Cream (0.7 oz.) contains the highest concentration of kinetin, Kinerase’s plant-based anti-aging antioxidant, to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

C8 Peptide Intensive Treatment (0.25 oz.) conquers damage at every level for noticeably younger-looking skin in just 28 days.

Cream (2.8 oz.) improves the skin’s ability to maintain up to 26% more moisture and helps to reduce the appearance of aging of the face and neck.

I have used both the Intensive Eye Cream and the C8 Peptide Treatment before and these products not only deliver excellent results but this particular kit would be over $300 if you purchased each item separately…..so at $105 this is a fantastic value.

So many people are affected by Rosacea, and the care that they recieve is not always the best. To find out more on this skin care issue I consulted with Anouchka Ferrer, a licensed esthetician with 30 years in the skin care industry, and to get the real scoop.
So many people are affected by Rosacea, and the care that they recieve is not always the best. To find out more on this skin care issue I consulted with Anouchka Ferrer, a licensed esthetician with 30 years in the skin care industry, and to get the real scoop. First of all, Anouchka made it very clear that “it is not acne.” Understandably, there is a lot of confusion between rosacea & acne because they often look alike. Even though, as it progresses, rosacea develops papules and pustules that create pimples resembling acne.

Acne is actually a disorder of the sebaceous gland accompanied by blackheads and whiteheads over the face, neck, decollete and back. Rosacea is a vascular disease that affects only the face and displays no blackheads. Unfortunately, some people are genetically predisposed to Rosacea like those with thin fragile skin who have an Irish, English or Scottish background. Lately though, more and more people seem to be affected as well, even those with a light olive complexion.

Unfortunately even knowing who is likely to get it, still doesn’t help to find the cause of Rosacea. However, we do know that it is a weakness of the capillaries which causes them to become permanently dilated over time. Rosacea appears in a butterfly shape on the cheeks, chin, forehead and nose. It is characterized by a persistent redness & flushing, scaliness & papules. People with Rosacea should not smoke since smoking destroys Vitamin C & tightens capillaries which prevents circulation of the blood. Anouchka also recommends avoiding the sun at all costs, and to always wear SPF. Try to avoid hot showers and baths, saunas, and, oh no, spicy foods.

Here is Anouchka’s Facial Regiment for anyone with Rosacea or even a mild case: Use a gentle cleanser, followed by a toner without alcohol or any aggressive ingredients, and make sure to use creams with anti-inflammatory & anti-irritant ingredients (such as chamomile, licorice root extracts and allantoin).

Vitamin C, an antioxidant that promotes collagen synthesis is also very beneficial as it strengthens the capillaries and is vital in supporting the skins auto-immune system. Vitamin A is an anti-oxidant which normalizes cell turn over for Rosacea along with Vitamin E an anti-inflammatory & free radical catcher. All help in alleviating rosacea conditions. Pevonia, Kinerase and Dr. Grandel all offer excellent skincare products to help calm and to a certain extent, control Rosacea. In extreme cases of rosacea, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist.

Do not confuse rosacea with “couperose,” which is a very mild case of dilated capillaries on the cheeks and is not accompanied by a diffuse redness and flushing like rosacea.

For more information on Rosacea, and your skin care concerns, you can email Anouchka: anouchka@roadrunner.com

Three new serums to check out and give your wrinkles a run for their money. All three are pharmaceutical grade and promise to give you results that will make you smile. The first is from Kinerase, a skin care line that is devoted to developing products to improve the texture of your skin, fill out lines, and give your complexion a youthful glow.

Their newest is called Kinerase C8 Peptide Intensive Treatment. At $98 a bottle, Kinerase says it addresses the signs of aging by filling in furrows and evening your skin tone. I haven’t tried this yet, but I have tried other products and have really liked them. My sister is using their Brightening Serum and said her skin looks really radiant. Kinerase C8 Peptide also goes after skin damage as well, and with ingredients like their revolutionary SNAP-8 neuropeptide, combined with Vitamin C, Kinetin, and Green tea, women are seeing results in as early as 28 days.

Lineless Lines No More from Dr Brandt is a bit cheaper than the C8 Peptide from Kinerase, but does it work? Lineless Lines is a volumizing formula that claims to plump creases instantly. Wow! Wouldn’t that be nice. With breakthrough ingredients like phospholipids, hyaluronic acid, and palmitoyl tripeptide, it helps to improve the skins texture by filling in smile, laugh lines, and wrinkles for smooth, youthful looking skin.

Lineless lines No More works from the inside out to fill and plump lines, visibly decreasing the depth of wrinkles on the forehead, nasolabial, and eye area. It also boosts collagen production to lessen the occurance of lines and folds, while continuing the improve your skins texture over time. This sounds like something to check out, and definitely worth a trip to Sephora.

Murad’s Sleep Reform Serum is a PM treatment, which features a melatonin ingredient that repairs your skin while you are catching a few zzzz’s.Talk about taking beauty sleep to a whole new level. Murad’s Sleep Reform locks in moisture, promoting skin firmness, and fighting the fight of those awful wrinkles. You wake up to a rejuvenated complexion and the softening of fine lines and wrinkles. The serums unique topical melatonin delivery system also promotes collagen production which we lose as we grow older.

Now you can say “good morning gorgeous” and mean it!
