Using a 3x Magnifying Mirror For Your Makeup

I was talking a few days ago about some of the reasons why you might want to invest in a 3x magnifying mirror and this morning came up with a short list that might interest you. To be quite honest, I never really thought about just how much I rely on the mirror. I pretty much take it for granted, but I used it just this morning to help with the day’s makeup application without even thinking about it. Here’s what I found…

-Applying eyeliner can create a real mess, but using the mirror allows you to work the liner right into the lash line, resulting in no messy line that everyone else can see.

-While working on your eye makeup, you will also notice if there are any stray hairs that need removing from your brows. When they are magnified, you tend to spot every one of them.

-It is also the best way to apply mascara. You can actually see the lashes you missed.

I mentioned these special mirrors in passing a few entries back, but I didn’t say why you might want one. That 3X magnifying mirror will show you things that you wouldn’t want anyone else to see. Lights in bathrooms are notorious for being poor and you miss a lot of stray hairs that sprouted over night on your chin. Yes, I like to experiment with lots of different products that catch my eye and this one certainly did. Here’s what I liked about it…
-My forehead is really oily and it seemed to calm it down.
-I liked the color and the fragrance, but that is an entirely personal choice
-It’s an amazing exfoliator and the older you get, the more help you need getting rid of those dead skin cells that just sit on your face ;(

My face actually appeared smoother and I checked it out using a triple magnifying mirror. That can be scary!
