Introducing ‘Lash Blast Luxe’ From CoverGirl

The original Lashblast Mascara was one of my favorites from last year. Now CoverGirl has introduced their latest, LASHBLAST LUXE, which has a hint of shimmer in all four new shades. Just gorgeous I tell you! Same brush that coats each lash and gives them glam appeal for eyes that can’t be ignored.
For the price, this is a really great mascara for creating lengthy, thick lashes that look amazing! I always have at least three tubes in my kit, and usually by the end of a shoot I have given at least one tube away.

Time for a new mascara

It’s about that time. I just looked at the date that I taped to my last tube of mascara and the three months is just about up, so I’m looking out to you for a suggestion on what I should try next.
What’s your favorite and what can it do for your lashes?? Mine are rather pathetic looking on their own. Why is it that it’s always the guys that are on the receiving end of long, gorgeous lashes?? Just isn’t fair!

Not a makeup day!

If you aren’t in the mood to wear makeup, your might want to spend a little time simply applying a generous amount of mascara to your lashes. But go slowly. You want to build up one layer at a time. Blobs not wanted And what will the mascara do for you?? It will simply open up your entire face!

Why Is It Fair??

“Men just don’t realize that it takes a lot, and I do mean a lot, of work to look good. I’ve never understood why a man can pop out of bed, throw a little water on his face and look decent…maybe not great, but definitely presentable enough to get the morning paper.”
That is just the intro to what we have to go through. And I also want to know why it is that it’s always the men who get the long lashes. Is there a line that I missed when I was born. If there was, I REALLY missed …read more

I Don’t Look Like a Fashion Model

If you have been thumbing through the lastest copy of a fashion magazine, chances are you are sitting there wondering why it is that you don’t look like some of those models!
Well, you can stop wondering! I have good news for you. I once read that it took a whole hour for a makeup team to work on a model’s lashes for a mascara advertisement. No wonder we can’t compete. If we had a team of makeup artists at our disposal, we might look a lot different too!

*Do You Look Exhausted?

If you wake up feeling more tired than when you went to bed, here is a trick to perk up your face. Well actually, the only thing that is going to help is more sleep, but you can dab on a little ivory highlighter under the brows and in the inner corner of the eyelids… smudging outwards. Avoid adding shadow or mascara on the lower lid. It will make you simply look more exhausted.
And yes, I am putting this into practice today. As much as we try to do everything right, there are going to nights when sleep just …read more
