“What is the most important thing I can do to protect my health/improve my health?”
I’ve been asked this many times and my answer is always the same. Change your eating habits and get moving.
And when you begin to notice that your metabolism is starting to slow down, it’s a good habit to have at your disposal. I picked up the stepcounter/pedometer and started using it again. Just hearing the clicking with each step reminds me to add a few more steps. I have only made the 10,000 steps once, but it is still something worth shooting for.

*Easier Than Dieting
Fresh fruit contains fiber… lots of it. And in case you haven’t noticed, a banana can really fill you up quickly. If you feel full, chances are you won’t reach for something full of fat and sugar. Another of my favorites is a (homemade) bran muffin. It tastes great, it’s definitely filling and you get to control the ingredients used. A lot of cereals are also high in fiber. You simply have to do a little research to find more high fiber foods that appeal to you.
