Newspaper columnist Cathy Hamilton was chronicling a personal account of the adventures and misadventures of being a woman over 50 in a weekly column called Boomer Girl Diary for a local newspaper when she began searching online for a community of baby boomer women. What she found was there was not much to be found. And so, Boomergirl was born.
