Philosophy “Help Me” Retinol Treatment

As we get older, it becomes more and more necessary to use additional aides when caring for our skin. One of those aides is a peeling agent. I told you last week about my experience with a chemical peel, now I want to focus on maintenance products. One product that I love is Philosophy’s Help Me (I love that name don’t you?)

This is an advanced skincare treatment that will minimize the appearance of large pores, fine lines, improves skin discoloration and clears congested pores. a patented time-release delivery system allows the retinol to be released into the skin gradually for less irritation.

Help Me is a retinol based product and is very good for refining/smoothing the surface of your skin and reducing any fine lines. I use it before I put on moisturizer day and night..I have noticed recently I have some congestion/enlarged pores near my nose, this has cleared it up beautifully and without any harshness, redness or burning.

Philosophy Bath & Shower Gel

Looking for a pick me up for the hum drum shower routine? Try one of Philosophy’s Award Winning 3-in-One shower gels. If you have never used one of these before, they are a bubble bath, shower gel and shampoo all rolled into one - the perfect multi-tasker! Some of my favorites…

Coconut Frosting really nice for summer, or for whenever you want it to feel like summer. I have used this in the dead of winter as a little reminder of warmer weather.

Red Velvet Cake Although the first time I used this it looked liek a crime scene in my shower, the scent is og so lovely and reminds me of my Nana’s red velvet cake.

Senorita Margarita This smells JUST like the real thing so be careful, you may be tempted to drink it in the shower.

Caramel Apple For the upcoming Fall season, the smells of caramel and apples togetehr are just divine.

There are so so so so many to choose from, my suggestion to you is to get into a Sephora store and just start sniffing. They are pricier than drugstore bodywashes BUT the sizes are huge (16fl oz) and they last forever as a little bit goes a long way. Now be advised as these scents are only meant to last while you are in the shower so you can use whatever scented lotion etc afterwards with no conflict.

Sweet Coconut Milk.

Oh – I just took such a great, warm, long shower sudsing up with this, and I just had to share it with you. It is awesome! It is the Sweet Coconut Milk shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath from Philosophy.

I am definitely a Philosophy girl, and I promise to bring you some more of my favorite Philosophy finds soon – but I had to just share this quickly.

This is the scent of pure coconut. Sweet and creamy coconut, Yum! I can’t tell you how excited I was using this. I am normally not one to like food scents in the shower, but this is so not foody!

You must try it!. And if you have never used anything from Philosophy, you must check out their website to fins something you would like. Their 3-in-1’s are a perfect way to start as they are all fantastic and come in the largest range of wonderful scents. The lather on this is so spongy and creamy, you only need a tiny bit. Seriously, like the size of a nickel on a bath puff will suds up like crazy and get your entire body squeaky clean.
