Stress. One way said to help beat stress is by using Aromatherapy to help combat it. But I am not sure if I buy into it. I mean, I love to light candles, they just look relaxing. And I love the way a certain scent can take over a room. But is it really doing something to my mind?

Today, I did something that was not like the normal me… I did nothing. Okay, well, I did make use of the gym that the hotel offers, but for maybe 15 minutes. After this flu bug that I managed to pick up somewhere, I really didn’t want to overdo, so I didn’t. After that, I took a bubble bath and then Britt and I went for a walk around the block. Okay, maybe it has “something” to do with getting a wee bit older, but that’s about the only thing that I’m having difficulty with. We drove to San Diego yesterday and spent the day at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall (on the way) and then the rest of the day wandering around Old San Diego. When we were teens, we spent every summer simply sitting by the pool listening to the radio. As we got older, that was replaced with responsibilities that did not include relaxing. Over the last month while on vacation, I did just that. I sat by the pool with a coke and just listened to the radio! And, I enjoyed every minute of it!
