Who colors their hair? I do, I do!
When I first had my hair colored, it was just highlights. Then I started going lighter and lighter until I reached the lovely shade of light golden blonde that it is now.
Let me tell you though, this color is getting hard to maintain. It is a bit lighter in the Summer months, especially around my face. Yes – right where the grays are. And coloring my roots every week is just out of the question. First off, it is damaging, and secondly – I do not have the time.

What was especially interesting about this piece is that I too am having all the same thoughts as Anne. If I let my gray show, does that instantly make me old? Will men suddenly stop looking at me on the street?

At least when it comes to turning gray/grey and apparently a lot of people are noticing?? And caring!! They have nothing more to do? She has dark hair and that is the first hair color to show the gray and people are stunned! Okay, if they were an inch long, maybe she should have covered them up a bit, but people… get a life. There is more to worry about than someone’s gray hair.
