I Prefer Shaving with the Schick Quattro.

Sadly, not many of you answered my hair removal preference question. But, I did promise to elaborate on my method(s) of choice. My main way I remove hair is with shaving.

Shaving is simple. I do it in the shower, almost everyday. I shave under my arms and my legs. Simple! The most simple way to shave is to find a razor that works well for you. My razor of choice is the Schick Quattro for Women.

The ergonomic design, with the easy to grip (and never slip) handle, along with the fact that there are four blades to this razor, make this my favorite shaver, by far. There are also two conditioning strips, one on the top of the blades, and one beneath them, to make gliding over my legs even more effortless.

What makes me like this razor probably the most of all is how long it lasts. I have had the same razor (with the same blade) in my shower for almost three weeks now. No rust, whatsoever. You see, this razor comes with a great holder that keeps the razor totally dry in between uses. And using this, like I said, three to four times a week, is still working as well as it did the first time. No wonder shaving is simple – and a real joy.

Wax, Sugar, Cream, Shave – What is Your Preferred Hair Removal Method?

Tis the time of year to bare it all – or as much as you bare to dare. What is your preferred method of hair removal? I am talking body hair here – not the facial hair and brows that I talk about often. I want to know what your preferred method of body hair removal is.

I am a shaving girl. I did have sugaring done once to the bikini area and I really liked how gentle it was. But, waxing with bikini wax strips, are so much easier to use, so that is my method of choice for that area. Then I just maintain with a razor.

Dry Legs This Summer

Christina over at eBeautyDaily was talking about exfoliating gloves in the bath to get your legs ready for shaving. That reminded me of another use. There is nothing worse than dry legs, especially if you plan to use a self-tanner on your legs. Can you imagine the results if you applied the product to legs covered in dead skin cells?

So, now you have two reasons to pick up these handy little gloves on your next shopping trip! And while you are at it, you might as well pick up some new blades for the razor and top up your supply of your favorite self-tanner. Here’s to a gorgeous summer!

We grumble about how often we have to shave, but it could be a lot worse. Research has turned up the fact that prehistoric man used to shave with clam shells.
