(14) Update Your Closet Storage

Have you noticed just how small closets have suddenly become?? I would have thought that they would have grown as houses got larger, but it hasn’t happened and now I find myself using any closets that haven’t been taken over, or adding extra storage space in the basement.
An alternative would be to invest in those storage units that you see in the home renovation stores. The model above is one of the simpler versions, but look at how much space it frees up!! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place for everything… and you can find it when …read more

Hurt Myself Shopping??

Can someone actually pull a muscle while walking around a mall??
Yes, I’ve been doing a lot of shopping lately and then last night around 3:00, I woke up and noticed that my leg was feeling a bit odd. I ignored it and decided to work for an hour or so. ( I seem to do that a lot lately.) Anyway, when it was time to get up and go back to bed, I could barely push myself up out of the chair. The pain was excrutiating.
I took a pain killer, and another one just a litle while ago …read more

Everyone is getting bark for Christmas

Okay, that’s not all they are getting for Christmas, but it is at least something that I can make without screwing up. All you need is chocolate and nuts. You melt the chocolate, stir in the nuts and then spread out on a parchment lined cookie sheet and pop into the refrigerator. When it has harden, you break into pieces. Now if you can find a recipe easier than that, please send it to me!
But for those of you who aren’t into cooking/baking etc., you can simply buy a gift pack of goodies. I was at the mall …read more

Clinique Stop Signs Visible Anti-Aging Serum

First of all, one of the things I like best about this product is that it comes in a pump. Your fingers can’t contaminate the serum. I just hate products that allow your fingers to come in contact with it. I know that you are supposed to use a little spatula, but you know what happens… you use your fingers because you can’t find the spatula… or it is just me.
Pros… there are lots of them actually.
-absorbs easily
-fragrance free
-this bottle lasts for ever!
Cons… okay, it is a little pricey, but it does last so if you divide from day …read more

Age Puzzles Me…

Age puzzles me. I thought it was a quiet time. My seventies were interesting and fairly serene, but my eighties are passionate. I grow more intense as I age.

Okay, I still have a long way to go before I hit my seventies, (just had to throw that in lol), but it sounds like I have a fun time to look forward to. See I told you that getting older was fun!
