Blisslabs Face Value Travel Essentials

Blisslabs Face Value Travel Essentials

I have been traveling a lot more recently and I have discovered that if it doesn’t fit in a carry on, most likely I don’t need to bring it.  Everything needs to be minature.  If I am staying at a nice hotel then sometimes they have top shelf beauty goodies so I don’t even need to pack anything.  However,  if I am going to a hotel and I’m not sure of the items that will be in the bathroom…then I come armed with the Blisslabs Face Value Travel Essentials.

The kit contains small sizes of cleanser, toner, sunscreen, eye makeup remover, …read more

Philosophy “Help Me” Retinol Treatment

Philosophy “Help Me” Retinol Treatment

As we get older, it becomes more and more necessary to use additional aides when caring for our skin.  One of those aides is a peeling agent.  I told you last week about my experience with a chemical peel, now I want to focus on maintenance products.  One product that I love is Philosophy’s Help Me (I love that name don’t you?)
This is an advanced skincare treatment that will minimize the appearance of large pores, fine lines, improves skin discoloration and clears congested pores. a patented time-release delivery system allows the retinol to be released into the skin gradually for …read more

But from exercise machines to pills to shots of oxygen, how are women really supposed to know which product’s tag-line is true to its word?  For example, did you know that by doing a simple neck exercise you can eliminate saggy, droopy skin along your jaw line? Lisa Hoffman Skincare Vitamin A & C Serum

When the weather gets warmer, I like to use products that feel lighter weight.  My skin feels better for it, my new fave is from Lisa Hoffman Skincare. She makes a fabulous Vitamin A & C Serum.
This serum feels SO light but don’t let that fool you because it is actually a heavy duty formula.  The formula is water-free and has large doses of Vitamins A and C to provide anti-oxidant protection to maintain skin tone and provide firming action.  It absorbs into the skin QUICKLY…which is a huge plus and your skin is ready for your moisturizer.
I tried a …read more

Are you still using sunblock?

Are you still using sunblock?

Even though the temperatures are falling where I live, it is still important to wear a sunblock every day. And here is something I tend to forget. You are supposed to apply it 15 minutes before you go outside. I tend to remember just before I go out the door. And for you skiers and snowboarders… you really have to pay attention to your sunblock application because of the altitude. (You are closer to the sun) Have you ever noticed bottles of sunblock with mountain ranges on the label. That’s the reason!
And if you get into the habit of …read more
