Teri’s Top Ten Aging Fabulous Tips.

As I consider myself an anti-aging expert, ha – I have been writing this for about 9 months now so I better have learned something – I have come up with my top ten tips for Aging Fabulous.

  1. Laugh Often – find something to laugh about. Really laugh about! I recently read that a good laugh every day can add up to 8 years on your life – I believe it.
  2. Keep yourself hydrated – truly 8 – 10 glasses of water a day will not only help keep things running more smoothly on the inside, your skin will look better on the outside.
  3. Exercise daily – whether it is a nice walk every day or just some simple stretching, keep yourself feeling loose by fitting in a bit of exercise each and every day.
  4. Wear sunscreen – everyday, every season. It is one of your best defenses against winkles.
  5. Moisturize – find the right combination for your skin and make sure you use your correct lotion or cream every day.
  6. Love – share your love and be loved. There is no other feeling like it. The love for your child, spouse, friend or pet – love is a very important part of life and means even more as we age.
  7. Continually educate yourself – keep learning by reading, writing, or even watching and think about what you are reading or hearing. Learning will keep your brain fit
  8. Relax – however you do it, take at least 10 minutes a day for yourself. Take a bath, take a walk, sit in silence, have sex – whatever does it for you, just do it.
  9. Eat a balanced diet – Find your perfect balance of food and correct amount of calories you should eat for your age and activity level and stick to it as best you can.
  10. Get plenty of sleep – the average adult needs 7.5 – 8.5 hours of sleep every night. If you don’t get out of bed right after your alarm goes off, then you have not gotten enough sleep.

    That is great advice, SageRave! I constantly laugh at myself – which is pretty easy to do!

  3. Ohhh I love the sleep one! ;) I am sooo not a morning person. I rarely get out of bed as soon as my alarm goes off, though I think I may just be lazy! ;)

  4. I have top say that the absolute best one is stress. I think that people that do not learn how to handle stress well age so much faster and I not sure that any product can help with that.
