Aging Fabulous

The Health Benefits of Kiwi

Imported Kiwi Fruit, 6 pack“Packed with more vitamin C than an equivalent amount of orange, the bright green flesh of the kiwifruit speckled with tiny black seeds adds a dramatic tropical flair to any fruit salad. California kiwifruit is available November through May, while the New Zealand crop hits the market June through October making fresh kiwis available year round.

The kiwifruit is a small fruit approximately 3 inches long and weighing about four ounces. Its green flesh is almost creamy in consistency with an invigorating taste reminiscent of strawberries, melons and bananas, yet with its own unique sweet flavor. ”

Who would have expected that so much could be packed inside such a little piece of fruit. And in our house, we buy them by the bag and luckily enough, no one else seems to like them all that much!

SP – I have to bragg about your site to all my friends – it is awesome! Great information, appealing look, good writing. Thanks and keep up the great work. (I might add – the artichoke is another yummy food that is almost as high in antioxidants as blueberries. Plus, it’s low in sugar, has next to zero calories, and tastes great). Cheers from the healthy gang at Mark’s Daily Apple!
