What is Your New Years Resolution?

I cannot remember the last time I made a New Years Resolution. But I am making one this year. Well, a couple of them actually.
My first resolution is that I am going to get organized and figure out a consistent work schedule so I am not up at all hours of the night writing posts (like I am now). And this should help with my second resolution, and that is to fit “me” into my life. Like most women, I put myself last. And I just cannot do it anymore. For my health and sanity, I need to take charge of my life and put myself on the to-do list.
Sure, I would love to lose 35 lbs, exercise everyday, give up something – but I am trying to be a realist and stick to my resolutions.
Do you make a New Years Resolution? If you do, what is yours for next year?

OMG, Teri! Did you break into my gray matter last night and swipe my resolutions?!? Your’s mirror mine exactly!
This year, I will grow my existing blogs, but I also plan to grow me. I want and need to take better care of myself and, ultimately, be a better person because of it. Exercise for health, not weight loss, NEEDS to become a priority, as does sleep. I resolve to say “No” on occasion and to utilize my time wisely and in a way that will most benefit me and my family.
As moms and women, isn’t it just our way to try to be everything to everybody? And in the process, miss out on so much for ourselves? Enough is enough.
So Teri, girl, take comfort in knowing you have a writer pal paddling along in your same boat. Here’s to wishing you a balanced and “Me-Friendly” 2008!
Cheers!
I do usually make New Year’s resolutions. The way it works for me is I make about five of them and usually manage to keep one, which I think is fantastic. In fact, I gave up red meat as a New Year’s resolution many years ago!
I’m not sure what my New Year’s resolution will be! I’m thinking of making it business-oriented though.
