No suntanning, No sleeping on your side or tummy (yes I do this
), Extra Virgin Olive Oil on my face every night, a good Moisturizing Masque now and then and then the big one (I feel) is LAUGHTER and lots of it!!
I had always heard that drinking alot of water was good for skin, however I heard recently that was a myth. I wonder what the truth of that is! Anyway, I’m not afraid to invest in good creams. I’m kinda from the get-what-u-pay-for school. You absolutely have to stay moisturized!
Drink a lot of water.
Use Philosophy Help Me!
I find that a good laugh everyday and a lot of smiling helps keep me young at heart. I am 65 and my age is showing. I have tried a lot of products, but mother nature is stronger! HaHa
I think taking power naps is a great way to stay young. That, and using a moisturizer every day.
Moisturizing is essential!!
stay out of the sun and when you must be in it, use a LOT of sunscreen.
Lots of sunscreen, water, salmon, moderate exercise, reducing stress from your life, quitting smoking, great (and often) sex, vitamins taken daily and lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet!
Take it easy on the makeup.
Sunscreen
Sunscreen and sunglasses, but most importantly, a positive outlook.
Get enough sleep! I try to sleep at least 7-8 hours a night. I find that I feel and look much younger when I have had enough sleep.
Smoking is one of the worst things that you can do to your body. If you haven’t started smoking, don’t. If you smoke, quit today.
wear sunscreen, sleep well, and don’t wear make-up
I always wear sunscreen. Even in the winter. I also load up on the H2o.
plenty of sleep!
moisturize.moisturize,moisturize
Use sunscreen and get your Zzzzzzz’s!
Always put on sunscreen before going outside for any length of time. Even though the sun may not look bright and out it still damages your skin. Its the best advice Ive ever gotten.
I use face lotion with spf and self tanner all in one. Works awesome!
Exercise, eat right, don’t smoke, only the occasional drink, stay out of the sun, moisturize.
Let’s see…… What else… Oh yeah, be happy!
Daily naps. Let me say that again, DAILY NAPS. I could be the poster child touting daily naps because people always guess me as younger than I am.
Wear sunscreen!
water, relaxation & laughter!
sunscreen always.
Eating a diet filled with fresh (uncooked) green vegetables!
I used to work for a cosmetic doctor and she had great advice-”Wear sunscreen everyday and get a prescription for Retin-A”
Keep a small jar of moisturizer where you are likely to spend a block of time, like at your desk, or by the sink. Its easier to keep on your face when you can get to it right away.
As you age, eyebrows grow thinner and/or grayer. Make sure you color in and shape your eyebrows – you will look much fresher and younger!
wear sunscreen
don’t smoke
Lots of water, No Sun and No Kids!
Seven to eight hours sleep each night.
SPF 30 every day on my face without fail, and 55 on my arms/chest.
SPF 30 on my face everyday, 55 on my arms and chest
Wish I had known this before – reduce caffeine consumption! Caffeine dehydrates the body, including skin, making it more vulnerable to wrinkles and damage.
Stay out of the sun!
Exercize…it will help your health inside and out. After 40, weight-bearing exercise is even more important to prevent bone loss.
stay away from second hand smoke
I tan and I smoke (not saying it proudly, but it’s a fact), and I look much younger than my age (49). I have few wrinkles and supple skin. I have used Oil of Olay my entire adult life! Yes, I believe in it. My grandmother used it too, lived to 99 but looked decades younger.
Catnaps, preferably with a kitty. It’s very relaxing.
Keep hydrated (that’s water, not coffee), get plenty of sleep and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
I take apple cider vinegar every day–sounds disgusting, but a tsp of that with a 1/4 of a tsp of baking soda in a small cup of water makes your skin supple and has 1001 uses!
Get enough sleep.
I quit smoking and I drink alot of water everyday.
Laugh, it is the bets medicine
Avoid high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated everything! It’s not always easy, but I’m trying.
Try not to unnecessarily wrinkle your forehead! And stay out of the sun.
I try to stay hydrated with lots of water and get a full nights sleep.
