I am definitely a Philosophy girl.  I have become addicted to a few of their anti-aging skin care products and I want to share them with you!

I have already written about Help Me! A Retinol Night Treatment and the Booster Caps, and I just tried the Booster Serum. You want to try to win this three piece Philosophy set. Besides the fact that these goodies are worth $155, they are fabulous products full of everything you need to help fight the signs of aging.

    Sunscreen in your Day Cream is never enough! If you plan to spend an extended period of time in direct sunlight, use a separate sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 over your Day Cream. I just had a dermatologist appointment a few months ago because of some concerns of sun spots on my face and that is the “stern” advice he gave me! I plan to follow it wisely!

    You can apply all the cream you want, but if you regularly sunbathe, whether in the sun or in a tanning bed, your skin is going to age badly. USE SUNSCREEN!!

    Keep the makeup light, and don’t use concealers unless you know how to use them correctly… Nothing ages a woman more than heavy or badly-done makeup.

    Rest!!!! 8 hours a night if possible. And I know this sounds way too easy but live your life so you don’t sweat the small stuff. Releasing control and stress from your life will help worry lines and even veins that show on your face and neck fade away!!!

    Reduce stress in your life! Take time to care for yourself and be happy. You will look younger if you have a smile on your face regardless of what age you are!!!

    When I jump out of the shower, I pat dry with
    a towel and apply lotions generously to damp
    skin. This holds the moisture in.

    without reading the above comments, I hope it’s the #1 way to avoid aging that’s mentioned after all has been said about avoiding the sun… I’m white all year round!

    It’s best to sleep on your back so that you’re not constantly smooshing wrinkles into your face as it presses on your pillow.

    Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. This is so important, yet I know lots of people who do not do this.

    Get approximately 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Not too much and not too little sleep will keep your energy level consistent and your complexion clear.

    I use sunscreen in my day lotion but at night, 2-3 times a week, I use a prescription retinoid. This keeps my skin both wrinkle and pimple-free.

    Plenty of water, plenty of rest (8-9) hours of sleep at night and a humidifier in your bedroom to keep the air moist.

    Avoid stress, get as much sleep as you need, walk, drink plenty of water, and always look on the bright side….a little Philosophy will be the deciding factor in your anti-aging routine! :-)

    Wow theres so many tips out there. ok here I go

    1. Prevention is the key to everything – start with wearing sunblock everyday
    SPF 15 covers 95% of the rays,
    SPF 30 Covers 97%
    SPF 50 covers 100%
    So I recommend Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 PA+++ – Japanese brands are one of the few types that denote the UVA protection from a sunblock- plus this one has a good blend of physical and chemical blockers

    2. Drink lots of water, exercise, sleep 7-8hrs, eat healthy, keep a skincare regimen – I also recommend taking supplements such as folic acid, Omega 3 fatty acids, and antioxidants (goji berry juice)= being healthy inside means beautiful outside

    3. To also include in your skincare: products with antioxidants (to fight those free radicals that break down your cells causing aging) retinoids and peptides – both proven products to prevent and heal lines and wrinkles

    4.Finally although we all want to look younger I don’t think its shameful to have laughlines – as long as we got those lines from being happy and having a full life its worth it. But it doesn’t hurt to look younger than we are even with laugh lines

    5. Get a good hair color, hair cut, stylish clothes and confidence will radiate out, making people believe that you are younger than real

    6. Finally treat yourself well you deserve it, maybe a facial, mani &pedi, shopping spree, the dirty dance lessons you put off for too long

    Really just keep things exciting do all the things you thought you can’t or shouldn’t do.

    Follow everyday routine meticulously: clean your face and neck with cleanser, tone them with moisturizing toner, apply eye cream (on lips including) in the morning as well as in the evening, finish with moisturizer in the morning and nightcream before sleep on both, the face and the neck. Exfoliate once per month.

    no sun or tanning beds. don’t smoke. use a good quality serum or lotion often.
