5 Superstitions all about Hair
1. For all of you young ladies out there who usually hit the salons on Saturday. I don’t know where this superstition originated, but I heard it somewhere and for some reason, it stuck. It seems that Saturdays are the best day to get your hair cut, as it has romantic overtones. Who knows, you just might bump into your intended in the mall. Hey I just report them, I don’t come up with them. But they get even better…
2. If you want your hair to grow fast, it should only be trimmed during a full moon.
3. Pull out one gray hair and three will grow in its place. *We’ve all heard that one!
4. After you have brushed your hair, what do you do with it?? Throw it away?? Apparently is it very unlucky to that and you never know who may find it. Apparently, you are supposed to burn it.
5. Here’s one for you moms out there. If your baby has collic (which I did apparently) a lock of hair is supposed to be wrapped in silk and set beneath the crib. That supposedly takes care of the collic. I guess moms would do just about anything to stop the crying!
