5 Ways to Spot a Fake Handbag

They are positively everywhere, and while some people really don’t care if the bag is really designer or not, you don’t want to pay big bucks for something you aren’t getting. So, here’s a few things to keep in mind.

In a nutshell…

1. Designer bags aren’t sold on the street.  If you are looking for a knock-off  street vendors are the perfect place to look. But be sure to pay accordingly. These bags aren’t real!

2. Check the material. Poor quality is a dead give-away. If it feels cheap… there is a reason.

3. Check the stitching. Really check the stitching. These guys are getting better and better and trying to fool you. It’s the little things that often give they away.

4. If you have your heart set on a particular bag, do your homework. Know what to look for.

5. Look for misspellings. That is a very common mistake made. This amazes me quite frankly. You would think that if a “company” is going to try to sucker you, they would certainly check their spelling.

I once saw a woman waltz into Coach like she owned the place…wearing one of the most horrendous fake Coach bags I’ve ever seen. The staff was rather gracious about looking the other way, but I wasn’t the only one rolling my eyes…lol…
