A Diva Diaper Bag For The Fashion-Sense Mom

When my babies were just **little** babies, I always had trouble finding a cute and/or fashionable diaper bag that I could use as a handbag at times too. I am NOT a gingham checkcloth kind of girl and absolutely do not want a bottle showing on the outside of my diaper bag. Yes, functionality is important but so is fashion!

My niece and I were chatting about this also and wondering where she could possibly find her next fashion/functional bag for her little babies. As searching goes, over at the Bag Snob, the fashionistas showcased these wonderful diaper bags that can double as handbags as well. Full of pockets and functionality inside, they also offer that true ultra-chic look on the outside. Now as you will see, the bags are waaay over-priced for the average family budget. Most of them well over $1500!! But, as one of the readers points out, the Sally Spicer site also offers designer diaper bags at a reasonable cost – - under $200. That’s more like it.

The bag(s) I used to carry in baby days are long gone. I went through a lot of them trying to find that right “look”. The one I stayed with the longest was a black, backpack style Eddie Bauer diaper bag that doubled as a sporty bag for me once the babies were out of that stage. After all, fashion is important to new moms as well, isn’t it?
What kind of diaper bag are you carrying now? Can it double as a fashion bag or will you ditch it right after your baby outgrows that stage?

I like…these bags are chic!
I adore the Sally Spicer diaper bag. I use it myself when I got out with my toddler. It’s really very functional and stylish at the same time =) By the way, I mentioned you in my blog. Hope you don’t mind. Keep writing!
