A Dramatic Marchesa Crinkle Beaded Dress

Every full fledged fashionista knows that fashion can cause a knee jerk reaction. Sometimes, you’ll see a garment or accessory that will turn you off, or make you laugh or it may even confuse you. That’s the beauty and the fun of fashion and also the reason why we love it and are addicted.

For the holiday season, there will be a number of fun party dresses we’ll either adore and admire, covet and conspire to get and ones that make you want to run in the opposite direction.  I came across this amazing Marchesa dress on the Bergdorf Goodman website and it just made me smile.

Even the model looks like she’s having a lot of fun, no?  This beautiful Crinkle Beaded Waist Dress ($2950) is absolutely stunning and looks as if it would so much fun to wear!   I really love the dramatic bell sleeves, the crinkled texture of the silk organza and of course the pretty embellished waist.  The materials are simple enough but the execution is stunning.

Naturally, the ‘average/real woman’ probably won’t have any reason to buy and wear this dress.
