A New Twist on the Old Hoodie

My commuting schedule coincides with the neighborhood high school bus schedule. This allows me to glimpse in to high school fashion for a split second every weekday morning. And readers, the hoodie has not gone away. The oversized zip up piece of heaven that was thrown out of my closet the second I walked across the stage in 2003 has not gone away. It still exists in all its trashy unfashionable glory.
Oh students. If I had the time to get out of my car (my sleeping habits are more important than the style of random high schoolers…) I would tell these youngsters about this Mike & Chris Ruffled hooded top. It’s seriously just a glamed up hoodie. The ruffle just makes the hoodie look okay in my eyes. It’s 80% cotton and 20% polyester…aka a hoodie. Throw it over some jeans and you’re ready to go.
