A Unique Scent 10 Corso Como

When I’m at the mall, I like to stop by the perfume counters. I don’t necessarily look for the big name perfumes or the ones sponsored by the newest “it” celebrity, I look for the scents that are under the radar. Ones that might not be as popular or ones that aren’t advertised as much.
I do this when I’m looking for gifts for family and friends. First, you should have a general idea of the type of scents they are drawn to. Once you know that you can shop for scents that are in the same family or range.
10 Corso Como is the boutique of Carla Sozzani based in Milan. The 10 Corso Como Eau de Parfum ($85 – $115) was released in 1999 and it’s quite unique in the way it smells. Upon first spritz you’ll immediately notice a sharp kind of sweet, sort of sour scent but then follows the rose and geranium which tempers the sharpness. The dry down is warm with sandalwood, incense and a bit spicy with vetiver, musk and Malay oud-wood oil.
If you know someone who loves woodsy and spicy perfumes, this might just be the one to get for them. The design of the bottle is simple yet striking with the cool combo of red, black and white. You can purchase 10 Corso Como Eau de Parfum at Neiman Marcus stores and online.
