A Wedding Gown Made Of Plastic?

A wedding gown made of plastic at the 4th China Beijing Cultural and Creative Fair this last weekend takes recycling to the next level. The dress which was featured at the fair is made of plastic packaging.

The Cultural and Creative fair is supposed to predict trends of the future. I don’t really see plastic wedding gowns becoming a trend in the near future, at least not gowns that are that obviously plastic (and see through).

I do see the possibility of wedding gowns made up of recycled material, or made with greener more sustainable methods in the future, as more and more brides are aware of the impact they are making on the environment.

I tried to find more information about the dress made of plastic the girl is admiring in the photo, but I didn’t find anything when I searched. If anyone has more information on the dress, please feel free to share.

What do you think? Would you be interested in wearing a wedding gown made of plastic packaging?
