Alice & Olivia Chocolate Plaid Shorts

There comes a time in the warmer months when I just throw up my arms, shrug my shoulders and say to myself, “I give up.” There are only so many ways I can wear these denim shorts, denim capris and denim skirts that are in closet. That’s when I go to the store (or online) and look for something original to go with that plain t-shirt that I just love to death.

That’s also when I find the plaid shorts. Plaid shorts like these Alice & Olivia Chocolate Plaid Wool Cuffed Shorts. I’d rock these with a plain black shirt, a khaki sleeveless shirt or a grey halter top while wearing some nice flat sandals. I totally have the outfit already picked out. Now, if only I could say these shorts would fit if I bought them. Bluefly.com describes them as a viable option for those girls that have to go “from uptown to downtown,” but I’d just wear ‘em about everywhere.
They have a zip fly with a button and double hook and hinge closure (some days I love those..others not too much..like when you get bloated maybe?) They’re about 3 1/2″ inches long and have a 7 1/2 ” inch inseam. They are currently $115.99.
