I love a good deal! Liz Claiborne pieces from the summer are bundled into a great mark-down sale, and this one was irresistible at $14.99 (from $49). Available in a black/cream stripe, this particular selection will look amazing with a nautical-themed cardigan or a sailor-buttoned pair of jeans with round-toed shoes–and definitely a peacoat and a wool scarf, too!

As for other new reductions over at Liz Claiborne, a lot of it is very hit or miss. Yes, there was a heinous animal-print jacket and an unfortunate plaid blazer, but if you skip to the second page, you’ll see a cute country plaid long-sleeved shirt, curvy, clingy tees, and a really nice pencil skirt in denim. If you’re looking for new wardrobe basics to get you through the season in 1X or above, you might want to check out this sale. I saw many pieces priced 50% off that look great!
