As we all watch with heavy hearts about what will come next for Farrah Fawcett – insiders say her battle is growing nearer to a sad end – celebrity stylist David Babaii says that the world of hair trends is already taking inspiration from her.
Then again, it has been for decades.
David said that this Fall, hair will be all about movement with soft layers to achieve an updated version of the former Charlie’s Angels star’s famous large and luscious movable locks.
The “now” look is to opt for a longer length fringe so you can easily create changes in your style.
I love to do this with tricks like a hot headband or scarf so that our style can change as often as our mood (or the weather!) does. This is also a great way of adapting your look for day or night!
David said the best way to accomplish this style is to use a leave in treatment such as Hair Polish to maintain a sleek straight look with bounce and movement. Big hair has and always will be a statement, no matter how you shape it.
Remember, the secret to bounce is health – healthy hair LOOKS healthy and vibrant. So, remember, also in tribute to the beautiful Farrah, to take good care of yourself, and your hair – and it will take good care of you!
