Andy Warhol is known for changing the way the world looked at and perceived art. He took familiar images, shot them full of saturated color, and turned something as simple and common as a Campbell’s soup can label and turned it into fine art.
The latest release in the Bond No. 9 fragrance series is Andy Warhol Success is a Job in New York will be out this Fall, October 2009. The bottle features Warhol’s iconic dollar sign image, set on a black background. Money is both the inspiration and the focus for this unisex scent. It features a citrus and spice top note, a floral middle, and a base with a combination of classic oriental notes. I’m not sure how that translates to money, it feels a bit more “hippy” to me, but I’m going with it.

I like a unisex scent, as I mentioned a few days ago. The Bond No. 9 people sent me a sample of the fragrance to try. No full size bottle, again. Dang. No matter. I used every last drop of the Andy Warhol Success is a Job in New York eau de parfum. I loved it! (Yes, with the exclamation point). There’s something about the Cardamom, it draws me in every time I find a scent that contains it. Without it and the Coriander, I think that this parfum would be nice, but not unique.
Fragrance notes:
Top note: Coriander, Cardamom, Mandarin, Bergamot
Middle note: Jasmine, Tuberose, Rose, Plum, and Pimento
Bottom note: Vanilla, Patchouli, Amber

Cashing in on a decades-old icon – seems incredible, and incredibly real; very Warhol.
