Another Amazing Model: Katie Halchishick

I’m starting my plus-size modeling search again! Katie Halchishick is a model who you’ve probably seen over at Kiyonna, and I think she has a great plus look. It’s just too bad that I can’t dig up a bio or anything supplementary… I just love her style! Are there any more plus models you admire?

It seems like these days all the plus sized models are getting thinner, Sophie Dahl, Tocara. I find it less than helpful really. Mostly because they aren’t really even plus sized, just normal and then they go and get skinnier and leave their fan base. IDK
I know what you mean. I happen to like Katie’s look, but that doesn’t get around the fact that she’s a size 10-12. Plus what? Thanks for your opinion, too! Hopefully I’ll find a ample plus model next.
Being as tho she is my cousin I feel the need and desire to support Katie. She’s stayed true to herself, her natural body style and talent. She wants to be a positive role model for women and I think she’s doing just that. She’s also the co creator of 3 skin leather designs. People with that much talent, intelligence and beauty is a rare commodity.
She is absolutely gorgeous, but plus-sized? Perhaps in the fashion world, but in the REAL world, she is just perfect.
If she’s plus-sized, then I shudder to think what I’d be called. And, I only wear a size 14 — but I wouldn’t even think about losing a pound if I looked like her.
Not knocking her. It is just sad that she can’t make supermodel status because apparently that is reserved for the truly skeletal. The fashion industry has no idea how much money it is losing by pushing the super thin ideal. Imagine if real women were made to feel good about real bodies how much more enjoyable shopping for clothing would be and how much more money we would spend as a result.
Katie isnt co creator. Bradford and his roommates created 3 Skin. Katie came in long after Bradford started this business. I liked the custom work that was raw – like when Bradford first started out.
