A new Olay product that I have had the opportunity to try is the Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller.  I love everything Olay, so I’m always happy to see what new products they have developed.  The Regenerist line focuses on at-home anti-aging treatments that stimulate new growth of skin cells while keeping skin soft and moisturized.

The Anti-Aging Eye Roller has a fun little dispenser that is different from anything I’ve used before in an under eye cream.  You click the long lip balm-shaped applicator a few times like you would click a retractable pen and eye cream oozes onto the three micro-rollers.  The round-tipped rollers gently massage your under-eye skin while also applying the moisturizer.  The advanced anti-aging treatment is supposed to reduce puffiness and regenerate skin’s appearance to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

I actually loved the feeling of the micro-rollers!  It felt like I was really stimulating the skin in that area in a gently way, which could definitely help to reduce puffiness.  Oftentimes the only face make-up that I wear is under-eye concealer, so I like the idea of focusing on treating under-eye circles instead of just covering them up.  I will definitely continue to use my new Eye Roller daily!

Before the classy aviators, the only Maison Martin Margiela sunglasses that I’ve ever seen in the fashion world were the mono-lens super funky visor sunglasses that were released in summer 2008.  The mirrored lenses were the craziest (or most fashionable?) option and had a disctinctly futuristic robot vibe.  The L’Incognito sunglasses were the first design in the “8″ line of eyewear, and more visor mono-lens goggle-inspired styles soon followed.

Maison Martin Margiela Incognito Assemble Aviators $615

These 2010 Maison Martin Margiela Incognito Assemble Aviators are completely different from the previous “8″ styles.  I actually love this and could see them working as a timeless piece for both men and women.  The design is a simple adaptation to the classic gold metal aviator with acetate tortoise shell frames that wrap only the outer half of the lenses.  The mirrored lenses are two-toned in gold and brown.  This design is a collaboration with the Italian company Marcolin.

The Incognito Aviators are (surprisingly) available online at La Garconne, but I expect they will sell out extremely fast.  Priced at a Margiela-worthy price of $615, these are probably the most expensive sunglasses that I’ve seen in a long time.  But I do think they are quite amazing….

Maison Martin Margiela Aviators

I was just shopping at Banana Republic and, of course, they are at the forefront of the entire khaki trend for Spring.  They have absolutely everything you can imagine in shades of lovely taupe.  They also had gorgeous silk-blend  and jersey scarves that pair perfectly with khaki in muted shades of pink, green, yellow, and blue.

The key to pairing with khaki is to stay away from colors that are too saturated.  The lightness of the khaki looks great with colors you can imagine on breezy textured fabrics that seem to have been hand-dyed.

I received a Fruitz watch in Passion Fruit, and in addition to the health benefits of wearing a special natural frequency watch, I actually also love the design!  Colorful rubber watches are fun to wear because they are a whimsical accessory that can really add to your outfit.  The watch has a stainless steel case and seed-shaped markers that seem to float above the watch surface.  It’s water-resistant (completely practical!) and the silicone band is completely comfortable to wear.  It would be fun to collect Fruitz in many different fruit flavors!

Fruitz Watches Enhance Your Well-Being

Since I’m such a fan of at-home skin care treatments, I’m excited to share a new  skin care device called NuFace.  The FDA has approved NuFace as a medical device with cosmetic benefits for at-home use, which means that this gives us the ability to feel comfortable and safe performing treatments on ourselves in our own homes.

Barney’s Online Sale Has Huge Discounts

Evidently Kate Duff and Alexi Mintz share the same frustrations that I have and decided to actually create a solution to this problem.  On February 3 the website 3floz.com was launched to provide men and women bath and body products in a travel-friendly size.  The site carries a variety of primarily high-end beauty and grooming products all in sizes of 3 fl. oz. or less.  What an amazing idea!

The concept for the site is “for those who travel, those who are curious, and those who can’t commit,” which recognizes that not only can “sample sizes” be great for travel, but they are also perfect when you want to try out a new product.  Designer brand products are expensive and a lot of times you want to make sure that you are committed to the brand before splurging on a full-size of the product.  The kits offer a great way to start a new skin care routine with one of the brands that they carry.

Chloe Belladone Sunglasses $330

The Chloe Belladone square-framed sunglasses are my pick for one of the best sunglasses to get for your spring break tropical destination trip.  The clear acetate frames have a more casual feel, which makes them better for the beach than for the city.  I love the clear acetate frames with the gold-striped black brushstroke along the top of the lenses.  The lenses are graduated gray lenses and the temples are skinny and black.

I like the Chloe Belladone sunglasses because they are unique and a great mix between retro and modern.  I think this is a classy style that looks sophisticated, but casual….perfect with a long maxi dress for a day at the beach!

Thanks to host of the The Rachel Zoe Project and super fabulous celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, I finally see that these circle sunglasses can actually look chic and not just silly and costumey.  Rachel Zoe was recently spotted out shopping in NYC wearing a fashionable and classy look that included black circle sunglasses.  She paired the sunglasses with a fashionable, sophisticated, and clean outfit that included tailored black flared pants, a black long-sleeve button-up, and a cropped 3/4 sleeve two-tone fur (or maybe faux fur?) jacket.  And an Hermes bag of course!
