Aveda’s Green Science Kit

My mom is a huge Aveda fan. Almost every hair and skincare product she owns is from Aveda – which means that by default, when I’m staying over for a visit, I get to try out nearly everything new that comes out. Their products are extremely good and one of my favorite things about them is that they don’t tend to be bogged down with overpowering fragrances.
This year for Mother’s Day, I think I’ll treat her to a new Aveda product that I know (okay, I’m pretty sure) she hasn’t tried before. The Green Science Kit is a 4 step system to smooth out and lift skin so it always looks healthy and radiant.

From the reviews on the site, it seems this is a good solution for mature/combination skin (that’s my Mom) and uses a Moroccan argan oil, which has been used for medicinal, culinary and cosmetic purposes among Berber locals for centuries. The oil is rich in linoleic acid, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and Vitamin E – a powerful antioxidant.
